Otras muchachas arreglan la casa, fregando los cacharros, barriendo las salas, moviendo los jergones, espulgando las mantas, mientras que cantando alegres hacen las camas. —Y después si procede, recogen las ropas sucias dentro del cesto o balde y van con ellos hasta el cristalino torrente que baja del puerto, recibiendo y batiendo las aguas de más de mil fuentes, puras y limpias, y sanas en el nacer que sean como medicina, pues cuecen todas las legumbres con rapidez y lavan las ropas más sucias con dos refregones. Y mientras que de lavanderas trabajan, las hermosas y naturales muchachas con una dulce palabra, colocan en el viento canciones de amores, o se cuentan cosas satíricas y graciosas de sus novios amantes, o hablan de fiestas, de bailes, casorios, de hermosos vestidos, que algunas sembradas por la felicidad, lucieran alegres en la fiesta de la aldea. Artesanos que hacen el natural ruido cuando fabrican sus cestas con baniétchas de avellano, suena también como formando parte muy preciada, el afanoso trabajo del madreñeru y xugueiru, que lo mismo hace unas delicadas y hermosas madreñas propias del pie de un ángel, que un fuerte y potente yugo para la yunta del más exigente carretero, como un cachapu o cualquier otro apero de la labranza. —Suena, canta, ruge con potente instrumento, el pequeño molino que empuja con fuerza el rico torrente, donde se muele el grano para tornarle en blanca y fina harina, que es el pan bendito, fruto del trabajar cotidiano de gentes y bestias, que alcanzan el cielo en todas mis aldeas. Y también es fruto de las escarchadas que dejó la oscura neblina, encima de todos los eros de la embrujante aldina, para que no se secaran cuando el sol aprieta. —Y después, cuando el sol alumbra y con su grande fuerza deshace o pone en franca fuga la lloviznosa neblina, y seca el rico rocío que encima de sus eros dejaron sus lágrimas, todas las gentes suenan en su marchar con prisa para hacer con buen tino sus labores, y miran con ojos hirviendo en el natural y sano orgullo, los verdes maizales llenos de mazorcas, los prados donde crecen las abundantes y tiernas paciones, los avellanos cargados de fruto, los mazanéus, las cerezales, los nogales, los frondosos y grandes castañedos, todo en mi aldea con crecida fuerza sonaba, cantaba, reía, dentro de la más pura y natural alegría, cuidado en todo momento y tiempo con respetuoso y cariñoso trabajo, por aquellas nobles e hidalgas gentes, que eran la vida hace años, del sonar, del cantar, del rugir natural y puro de todas mis aldeas. —Hoy que ya está la aldea casi del todo despoblada, y todos sus ricos eros son pasto del abandono y de las malas hierbas, mi añoranza sencilla, simple y aldeana, con alegre pena viaja en mi pensamiento hasta los lejanos años de mi niñez, cuando vivía y trabajaba en sus eros de embrujo, cuando a voz en el viento sus gentes alegres y gozosas cantaban, cuando lloraban los niños, cantaban los carros, mugían las vacas, gruñían los cerdos, cuando sonaba, cantaba, rugía la vida en todos sus eros, cuando yo corriendo descalzo y lleno de hambre, cuidaba las vacas, ovejas y cabras, cantando feliz lo mismo que un ángel. —Si yo fuera músico, le haría un himno a mis aldeas con todos sus naturales y sencillos instrumentos, y lo terminaría con el silbido de las fábricas, el rugir de sus poderosas máquinas de vida y de progreso, y el aullar triste y desgarrador de los ingenios de guerra y de muerte. Todo este RUXIR desencadenante que nació en el natural ancestro de la aldea, y hoy surca con rapidez los cielos, y tiene sus púlpitos en las más populosas y ricas ciudades de la Madre Tierra, ha despreciado a la aldea, a sus costumbres, sus tradiciones, sus raíces, que fueron el natural alumbramiento de tanto sublime y necesario progreso. Yo creo, que quienes pierden sus ancestros, sus naturales tradiciones y profundos raigones, se deshumanizan, y no saben valorar después en la medida que se merece, el divinizante progreso que hará que el Hombre encuentre en la profundidad del venidero tiempo, no sólo su felicidad y gozo, sino que le logre arrancar de las negras garras de la vieja Muerte, ese aguijón que mata, que desde que nacemos pende sobre nuestras vidas y cuando en la razón entramos nos hace acondicionarnos al resignado suplicio de tenernos que morir. Por regla general los grandes sabios que tuvo la Humanidad, siempre buscaron la más profunda humanización en las raíces del sencillo y simplista pueblo, porque creo que llegaron íntimamente a descubrir, que el ser que no tiene raíces, o que se ha xebráu de su tradicional ancestro, es un parásito o una máquina que hizo la Humanidad para la fría muerte, o para trabajar el egoísmo, nefastosa alambrada que detiene de alguna manera el avance del indetenible progreso.
